The Anti-racism/Anti-oppression committee meets to reflect on how the forces of racism and oppression in Canadian society affect society, the Bathurst community, and our daily lives.
Topics we are exploring to ensure we combat racism, make change in the world, and become good ancestors include:
– Is racism a theological issue based on the Papal Bull of 1452?
– How should Sunday services confront theses issues?
– How do we use inclusivity of all history/culture/theology in Sunday services regularly, not just once a month?
