Caring for One Another
Activity
Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Committee meets monthly to review the needs of the congregation and to provide members with support and referral based on those needs. Pastoral Care also promotes events to build community within the congregation and with other organizations. It organizes events throughout the year to support a healthy and healing congregational life.
Conflict Processing Circle
Bathurst has a conflict resolution process to create a safe community in which each person is treated with respect and dignity. We aim to foster a culture of openness and trust so that everyone feels welcome to bring forward a concern or to express a difference of opinion. It is also important that if someone appears to be treated badly and is not speaking up for themselves, that others speak up.
